Ultimate is one of the fastest growing sports in North America. Described as a combination of basketball, football, soccer and hockey, the game attracts athletes that enjoy an intense, fast-paced game.

The Sharks represent the University of Western Ontario in intercollegiate Ultimate. The team is made up of undergraduate and graduate students from UWO and other nearby institutions such as Fanshawe College. The Sharks practice 2 to 4 days per week and attend weekend tournaments during the University touring season, which is primarily from September to November.
